It's not that I want to go, I just know how

When I start far behind I get run by the race

I must go now, leave this wonderful place

 

All the horses and all the king's men

Will be there on Monday all lined up again

To shine up their shells and to feed their children

It's worth all the days to go back to a wonderful place

 

In another world we could just stay here all day

Screw it, I'll do it if you do it

But what happens on pay day?

 

Responsibility's not for the young

And it's sure not sexy or sunny or funny

And it rolls off the tongue

Like bread that's bone dry

So don't stuff your face

Take just enough to be in a wonderful place
